Free Scholastic Chess Tournament

The tournament is unrated and will take place on November 19th, 2011. There will be 4 rounds.  G/30, Swiss-system - The tournament is for chess players in grades K - 8.  There are three sections:  K-2, 3-5, and 6-8

 Candidates must pre-register by 8:00 PM on Friday November 18, 2011. Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place contestants in each section.  The tournament is unrated.  Children from Westchester as well as Dutchess Counties are also encouraged to participate.

Registration:

Registrations must include each student's name, school, grade  and age. 

Check In time:

All players must check in from 9:30 am to 9:45 am

On-site Registration Ends at  9:45 am Round 1, 10:00 AM, RD 2, 11:15 AM, RD 3, 12:45 PM and RD 4  1:45 PM

Award ceremony will be at 2:30 PM
